The National Fire Service Incident Management System
Consortium and its publishing partner Fire Protection Publications at Oklahoma State
University are pleased to announce the release of IMS Model Procedures Guide for
Highway Incidents. This document applies the principles of the Incident Management
System to the various types of incidents that occur on roadways. It was developed through
the support of the United States Department of Transportation. The document contains
numerous full-color charts and diagrams to assist in applying its concepts. The 168 page
